Hello, my name is Annika. I’m a software engineer, dev-ops enthusist, hobby electronics affocianado, and
all around nerd. I’ve been toying with programming since my youth, on an Apple II with Integer BASIC.
My current job is primarily backend dev work, but I love having the opportunity to dig into frontend work. I have had the opportunity to work for some wildly different companies, from a small company with under 50 employees in the QSR industry to one of the world’s largest banks.
Some technologies I’ve used professionally:
At home, I have built a homelab to teach myself to use technology that I have not had the opportunity to use at work. I’m using proxmox for virtualization and Docker for containerization. I’ve recently stood up a small kubernetes cluster using k3s, and have been teaching myself more about it.
